Taivaanranta’s warm and welcoming banqueting rooms in the heart of Lahti provide an elegant setting for meetings, parties, dinners and other private events. Our private dining rooms are suitable for events for 8–40 guests.

We will create a delicious menu from the best seasonal ingredients according to your wishes, and our à la carte lunch menu is a great catering option for your daytime meetings. In addition to our selection of premium wines, Taivaanranta also offers a unique range of products from our very own brewery and distillery. A guided tasting in the Kellarikabinetti, located adjacent to the distillery, will add a special touch to your event.

Jyväkabinetti – 8 guests

The Jyväkabinetti room is a comfortable setting for up to eight people and is equipped with Wi-Fi, a screen and video projector if required.

For private events, parties and meetings for up to 12 people, the stylish Tähkäkabinetti is the perfect choice. The cabinet is equipped with Wi-Fi and a screen as standard. A video projector is available on request.

Kellarikabinetti – 40 guests

This is a meeting and event space that you won’t find anywhere else in Finland! Taivaanranta’s cosy Kellarikabinetti is located next to a real whisky distillery and is perfect for parties, dinners and corporate events for up to 40 people. The room has a direct view into the Taivaanranta Distillery and the authentic copper stills and oak casks create a unique atmosphere. Dining at Kellarikabinetti

Group dining menu packages for 15–40 guests are tailor-made for Kellarikabinetti and vary according to the season. Please confirm the menu and number of guests at least four days before your event. The buffet menu is suitable for all guests (all dietary requirements are catered for).

TAIVAANRANTA DISTILLERY TASTINGS

The first malt whisky distillery of Teerenpeli Group was established in the basement of Taivaanranta Restaurant in the centre of Lahti in 2002. The Taivaanranta cellar is still used for the distillation of speciality malt whiskies and other distillery products, although the main distillery operations have now moved to a separate location in Lotila, Lahti.

We organise group tastings with direct view to the original distillery and maturing warehouses, where you can learn all about the history of the distillery. Scottish copper stills and beautiful oak casks create an atmosphere for your event that you won’t find anywhere else. The cellar can be explored independently when Kellarikabinetti is not in use.

Field to Bottle tasting

In the Field to Bottle tasting we explore the journey of whisky from the grain to the finished product. The guided tasting lasts approximately one hour and includes a tour of the distillery’s operations, facilities and products, as well as a tasting of four different Teerenpeli Distillery products.

Taivaanranta is part of the Lahti-based Teerenpeli Group, which includes several restaurants and Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery. In addition to our restaurants, Teerenpeli Brewery’s unique craft beers and ciders are available in leading retail outlets and restaurants throughout Finland.

Teerenpelin Brewery & Distillery is located in Lotila, Lahti, with the production facilities, visitor center and brewery shop all under one roof. The Visitor Center offers public guided tours to learn about the past and present of Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery. After the tour, visitors can take part in a guided tasting at the Visitor Center. We are also happy to organise guided tours for groups on request.

Own your private whisky cask?

All good things come to those who wait – at Teerenpeli Distillery, whisky lovers can watch their own whiskies mature in their private whisky casks over a period of 3–10 years. Teerenpeli’s single malt whiskies are mainly matured in Spanish 65–70 litre sherry casks or 140 litre bourbon casks.
